PocketBook Reader

PocketBook Reader (the mobile app, and the software on PocketBook e-readers) can browse custom OPDS catalogs alongside its built-in online stores.

Note: menu names vary a little between the mobile app, older firmware, and newer PocketBook e-reader devices. Look for a Catalogs (or Online Store) section — the steps below describe the general flow.

Setting up the catalog

    Open Catalogs

    From the main menu (or the bookshelf-style icon in the bottom navigation), openCatalogs.

    Add a new catalog

    Tap + (or Add catalog), then enter a name and the catalog URL:

    https://ao3-opds.abelmuak.com/opds/v1

    Save and open

    Save the catalog, then tap it to browse recent AO3 works and download an epub.

Adding authentication (optional)

If you want to see restricted or mature AO3 works, sign in when PocketBook asks for credentials.

    Open the catalog

    Tap your AO3 catalog to open it.

    Enter your AO3 credentials

    PocketBook shows a login prompt automatically when a catalog requires authentication. Enter your AO3 username and password there. If your version doesn't prompt automatically, check the catalog's edit screen for optional login fields.
